The daytime entrance is open all day until 8 PM to allow families to enjoy the beer garden, trivia, and other events that take place together. After 8 PM adults over 21 can enter the main entrance on Nichols Rd.
With mandates lifted in Wisconsin as well as Dane County, we will NOT require masks or vaccines for the festival. We do encourage and support anyone who wishes to wear a mask, and have increased the number of hand washing stations around the festival.
In the case of severe weather, the festival grounds will be evacuated and all attendees will be directed to seek shelter in the lower level of Winnequah School, Nuestra Mundo School, Monona Community Center, and the Monona Library. Police, Security, and Festival staff will direct attendees if the need for an evacuation is determined.
All events are held at Winnequah Park, 1055 Nichols Rd, Monona, WI 53716
The festival goes on rain or shine, but if severe storms approach the fireworks or other events may be cancelled. Check out our Facebook page for up to date information.

All of the fireworks materials, golf balls, trash and recyclying are picked up after each festival, and we try to leave the park better than we found it! In fact, we partner with local Boy Scout troops who sweep the park grounds after the festival and then separate out recyclables from the trash. We are happy to make a yearly donation to these hardworking young men!
